Six generations, one stretch of hinterland.

Jodie Williams & Brett Gowley. More than a hundred years and six generations of Williams family history in the Sunshine Coast sit behind this place. Jodie is a Noosa Shire local and a trained chef; Brett looks after the property and, in the early years, ran the farm's chicken, pork, beef, lamb and garden produce.

In 2012 they restored the old Kin Kin General Store on Main Street and opened Blackant Café. Mayan Farm supplied much of the produce through the first seven years, until the most labour-intensive lines — poultry, pork, and eventually lamb — were wound back. Blackant grew into an award-winning café and restaurant, always full of locals and Sunshine Coast wanderers. Jodie sold the café in 2023.

In 2020 they opened the original Mayan Luxe Villas House as a one-of-a-kind, sustainable eco-tourism stay. In 2025, four new rammed-earth villas — Karinya, Mia Mia, K'gari and Cooinda — joined it on the ridge.
